Print Services and Distribution Association (PSDA) has named Midwest Single Source as an award winner in the 2019 Print Excellence and Knowledge (PEAK) Awards. This award was given to us for the cost-conscious solutions that were created in our partnership with The Wichita Open.
Midwest Single Source won this prestigious industry award for its entry of “Community Partnership Through Golf.” Midwest Single Source handles various collateral provided for The Wichita Open. The golf tournament is part of the Korn Ferry (formerly web.com) Tour, the professional tour just below the PGA. Following a review of 2018 expenses Kevin Ulwelling, president of Midwest Single Source, found “massive savings” through more effective sourcing and decoration of apparel for volunteers and event sponsors. Due in part to Midwest Single Sources cost-conscious decisions and community involvement, the event raises more than $200,000 for local charities. “More fun, more people, more money to local charities,” Roy Turner, tournament director of the Wichita Open for the last 20 years, says. “Our fantastic team of ambassadors rallied behind us and contributed greatly to the success of the event.”
“Time is our most valuable resource, helping people is our passion. Sharing moments of joy with our clients and staff while improving our community defines why we do what we do.” Ulwelling says, “This award is an amazing testament to the work and successes accomplished by our team every day.”
